President of India (भारत के राष्ट्रपति) is the first citizen of India. She/He is the ceremonial head of state of India and the commander-in-chief of the Indian Armed Forces. The Qualification, Tenure, Important Facts, List of Presidents of India is given below:

The president is indirectly elected by an electoral college comprising the Parliament of India (both houses) and the legislative assemblies of each of India’s states and territories, who themselves are all directly elected.

Qualification of President of India

A perosn must be a citizen of India, of 35 years in age and must not hold office of profit.

Tenure of President of India

The term of President of India is 5 years. There is no upper limit on the number of times a person can become President. President of India can be removed by impeachment by the members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
