    GSV Recruitment for: Professor

    Academic Pay Level: 14 of 7th CPC and allowances as applicable

    Age limit: 50 years (preferable)

    Eligibility (Qualification/ Experience):

    a.    Ph. D. with a first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades) in the preceding degree and an excellent academic record throughout.

    Age limit: 45 years (preferable)

    Eligibility (Qualification/ Experience):

    a.   PhD. with a first class or equivalent (in terms of Grades) in the preceding degree and an excellent academic record throughout.

    b.  Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in Scopus indexed journals and a total research score of 75 as per the criteria specified; API Score Sheet (Download Here)

    c.   At least 6 years of post-PhD experience in teaching/ research/ academic professional work, with a minimum 3 years at Pay Level -12 or equivalent in a reputed Indian (or foreign) university/ institute/industry of comparable level.

    The candidate should have demonstrated research ability with an excellent record of publications in reputed journals and conferences and must have supervised Ph.D. students. The candidate should also have demonstrated excellent teaching abilities at higher educational institutions. It is desirable that the candidate has carried out laboratory development/course development/ technology development/ innovative work leading to patents and has generated sufficient funding for research.  The criteria of supervision of Ph.D. students and teaching at higher educational institutions may be relaxed for candidates who have joined from industry.

    The Compliance Officer shall act as the secretary to the Audit Committee of the Board.
