Step 2 – Starting from the right side of “..367..”, get the sum of three digits one by one as following:

- .+7+6=13 (1 will be carried forward)
- 7+6+3+1 (carry from above)= 17 (1 will be carried forward)

- 3+.+.+1 (carry from above)=4
Step 3 – Note down the answer in upward direction ignoring carry (4 – 0 – 7 – 3 – 7) i.e 40737
