There shall be only one paper in HTET 2019 for Level-II Class VI-VIII Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT). All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question will carry one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There shall be NO Negative Marking. HTET 2019 Syllabus for Level-II Classes VI-VIII is as below:

Nature and Standards of Questions
Child Development & Pedagogy
The test items on Child Development & Pedagogy will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning, relevant of the age group of 11-16 years. They will focus on understanding the characteristics, needs and psychology of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.

Languages (Hindi & English)
The test items for Languages (Hindi & English) will focus on the proficiency related to the medium of instruction relevant to the age group of 11-16 years.
General Studies
The test items for Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Haryana G.K. and Awareness Language will focus on the elements of Mental and Reasoning Ability and General Knowledge regarding Haryana State.

Subject Specific as opted
The test items in subject specific will focus on the concepts, problem solving abilities and pedagogical and pedagogical understanding of the subjects.

Note
- The test items shall be evenly distributed over different divisions of the syllabus of that subject as prescribed for classes VI-X by the Board of School Education Haryana.
- The questions in the test for Level-2 will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus for classes VI-X, but their difficulty standard, as well as linkages could be upto the senior secondary stage.
