The president is indirectly elected by an electoral college comprising the Parliament of India (both houses) and the legislative assemblies of each of India’s states and territories, who themselves are all directly elected.
A perosn must be a citizen of India, of 35 years in age and must not hold office of profit.

The term of President of India is 5 years. There is no upper limit on the number of times a person can become President. President of India can be removed by impeachment by the members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
