Human Growth and Development Difference for CTET

Generally both the terms “Human Growth” and “Development” are used interchangeably. However both the term differ from each other. Following are the Human Growth and Development differences.

Growth Development
Growth is Narrow Concept – size, length, height, weightBroader Concept –shape, form, structure i.e. improved working or functioning.
Quantitative ChangeQuantitative and Qualitative both
Growth is purely used in physical senseDevelopment implies overall change
