UPTET 2019 Exam Pattern & Syllabus (Paper-I and Paper-II)

Uttar Pradesh D.El.Ed. has announced the registration process for UPTET 2019 and released the Syllabus for UPTET 2019. The exam date for UPTET 2019 is yet to be announced. The exam pattern & syllabus of UPTET 2019 are as below:

Best UPTET Preparation Books

In UPTET 2019, all questions shall be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each question will carry one mark with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There shall be NO Negative Marking.

  • Paper-I will be for the person who intend to be a teacher of Class 1 to 5 (Primary Stage).
  • Paper-II will be for the person who intend to become a teacher of Class 6 to 8.
  • Any person who intend to be a teacher for Class 1 to 5 as well as Class 6 to 8, has to appear in both the papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II.

There shall be only one paper in HTET 2019 for Level-III Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Child Development & Pedagogy

The test items on Child Development & Pedagogy will focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning, relevant to the age group of 14-17 years. They will focus on understanding the characteristics, needs and psychology of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning.

The test items for Languages (Hindi & English) will focus on the proficiency related to the medium of instruction relevant to the age group of 14-17 years.

The test items in subject specific will focus on the concepts, problem solving abilities and pedagogical and pedagogical understanding of the subjects.

Learn Divisibility Rule of 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6

Note
  • The test items shall be evenly distributed over different divisions of the syllabus of that subject as prescribed for classes IX-XII by the Board of School Education Haryana.
  • The questions in the test for Level-3 will be based on the topics of the prescribed syllabus for classes IX-XII, but their difficulty standard, as well as linkages could be upto the Post Graduate level.
